Medal Work and Social Dance
– over 8yrs Ballroom and Latin American classes. Fun together dancing including strict tempo and fun social dances too!
This class is for our older children where they will develop a sound understanding of all the strict tempo dances along with more social fun dances to help encourage social interaction. Pupils have the opportunity to progress through the N.A.T.D medal system and compete in social and medallist competitions if they choose to. Many of our pupils have found this grounding to be very beneficial when working towards their GCSE’s and A levels – with some students going on to pursue a career in dancing and related professions. Of course many others just dance for the sheer pleasure of moving to exciting music whilst making many new friendships and having oodles of fun!
Adult Beginners & Improvers Class
Ever wanted to learn to dance but not quit plucked-up enough courage yet? Or would you like to brush-up your dancing in time for that Christmas dinner dance, holiday or special occasion? Then this is the class for you. All our classes are taught with great care and skill to ensure you have a positive and rewarding experience and of course have lots of fun.
Adult Ballroom, Latin & Sequence Social Dance
A warm welcome awaits everyone
Possibly the friendliest social dance in the area! We play a mixed programme of Modern Sequence, Ballroom and Latin American along with a few party favourites. We hold regular special themed nights and are always looking for new ways to keep our long established dance fresh and new without loosing its old fashion charm. We have a licensed bar, which also serves tea & coffee, and ample car parking. We look forward to dancing with old and new friends soon.
